The latest installment in John Wolcott’s excellent series focuses on two young fighters making waves in the stadiums—Peteng Kiatphontip and Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai.

Just 14 years old at the time of filming, Peteng still attends school and was the winner of the “Puan 19” Sports Journalists’ Young Upcoming Fighter Award in 2011.

Yodkhunpon is not much older at 17, and famously won a 3.9 million baht gambling fight against Somrak’s fighter Jaisoo Thor Thepsutin, knocking him out in round 1.

Rob Cox provides additional commentary on the typical ages at which Thai fighters start their boxing careers and how they might get their breaks in the Bangkok gyms.

This documentary is as informative and entertaining as the previous installments, providing insight into the realities of life as a Muay Thai fighter in Thailand. According to John, the Eminent Air fighters Neungthep, Rungubon and Bpragaipetch will feature in Episode 5. We are all excited to learn who will be the focus of Episode 4.
